Led by International Teaching Artist Betsy Picart
American-born teaching artist Betsy Picart will highlight the differences between the British and American accents and give you the top tips to help you practice your General American accent to a higher standard!

You'll review vowel and consonant pronunciation, learn common American phrases and slang, and practice speaking lines/dialogue with each other. Betsy will provided detailed notes on each student so you can continue your practice at home after the workshop.

BETSY PICART - Betsy is a Latino American actor, director and international teaching artist from sunny California. She holds a Master's degree in Theatre for Young Audiences from Rose Bruford College (London) and a Bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre from the University of the Pacific (California). Betsy has performed and taught drama, dance and musical theatre camps across the globe in America, Europe, the United Kingdom, China and South Korea. Betsy currently teaches dance and drama in Hertfordshire and North London.
